Terms of Use
Effective date: March 3, 2026
Using this website
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website; the sale of goods is governed by the invoice we issue for your order.
This site is a catalog, not a checkout
No payment is taken on this website and no contract is formed by submitting an order request. An order exists only once we issue an invoice and you accept it on the terms stated in that invoice.
Prices and availability
Prices are shown in USD, per unit, and exclude tax, shipping, insurance and import duties unless stated otherwise. They are a guide and may change; the price on your invoice is the price that applies. Stock levels change and we may decline or part-fulfil an order if a line runs out, in which case you are told before paying anything.
Product information
We aim to describe our products accurately and publish a specification table for every model. Illustrations on this site are drawings of the product family, not photographs of a specific unit, and finishes, packaging and bundled accessories may change between production batches. Where a specification is critical to your project, confirm it with us in writing before ordering.
Warranty and returns
Hardware carries a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the invoice date. Unused equipment in original packaging may be returned within 30 days. The warranty does not cover water ingress on non-weather-rated models, lightning or surge damage, incorrect power supplies, or units opened or modified by the customer.
Your responsibilities
- Install and configure equipment in line with the supplied documentation and local electrical codes.
- Provide a lawful power supply and, where required, a licensed electrician or installer.
- Comply with the radio, data-protection and surveillance law that applies where the equipment is used.
- Keep your own backups of anything you record; storage media fail.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, loss of profit, or losses arising from the failure of equipment to detect or prevent an event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
The text, illustrations, layout and code of this website belong to Oakvigil Security and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Product names and model codes used on this site are ours; third-party marks remain the property of their owners.
Governing terms and changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
