Where these units may and may not be used

Every unit in this category is a self-contained recorder with a status indicator that stays visible while it runs. We do not stock units disguised as objects a stranger would pick up and use, we do not stock units with the indicator disabled, and we do not ship orders that look like surveillance of someone else's private space.

Lawful: property you own or control, entrances and public areas, vehicles you own, your own workplace with staff informed. Prohibited: bathrooms, changing rooms, bedrooms and any place a person expects privacy, and audio recording, which needs the consent of all parties in many jurisdictions.
